WELCOME
........
to
the NEW Subli Website!
We
have been making a lot of changes
recently - to enable us to provide
you with a much higher level
of service - including making
big changes to the website.
The
changes to the website aren't
just to make it look nicer
- they're all part of our plans
to be able to give our customers
a better service.
You
will notice that across the
top of the website is a new
navigation - here you will see
that you can join & login
to our new members area. Click
here to learn about our new
membership types.
Please
note:
all current members
will need to join
again here in order to access
the new members section.
Please
follow the 4 steps at the top
of the website to make sure
you're getting the best of our
service.
In
the new members area, as well
as viewing weekly news &
alerts, you will find an online
quotation system. This
enables you to easily request
quotes on any of our products,
by simply clicking to add products
to your quote & entering
the required quantity - click
on submit & we will reply
with your quote same day or
next day depending on the time
submitted.
Area
Dealers
First
Dealer Now Live!
Our
biggest change - which we're
still in the process of making
- is to set up area dealers.
This
means that now, when you place
an order, your order will be
passed to your nearest area
dealer (who will hold our range
of stock) you will then be able
to either pop into the local
dealer & collect (a huge
plus when ordering heavy &
fragile items such as mugs)
or have the order delivered
from your local dealer.
The
first dealer we have setup is
in East Yorkshire, between Hull
& Bridlington. This dealer
is a "Master Dealer"
which means they are supplying
to all area's not yet covered
by an area dealer, so this dealer
will supply to you until you
have a more local area dealer,
unless you happen to be within
the local territoy of this dealer
in which case
The
dealers plan is going to help
us to give our customers the
best possible service. You
see, we started as a small company
just 3 years ago - we're still
a small company in terms of
premesis, staff & resources,
but we have grown so quickly
in terms of customers, that
we have been struggling to cope,
trying to look after around
1,600 customers throughout the
UK & other parts of Europe,
with just one quite small warehouse
& office, with just a handfull
of staff!
We
realised that our rapid growth
was starting to affect our ability
to give a good service
- especially in particularly
busy periods, so we looked at
all our options, and decided
that establishing a network
of UK dealers would enable us
to continue to offer the same
personable & friendly service
that we strive to offer - through
our dealers network, while also
solving the problems of increased
courier costs & associated
problems, by enabling most customers
to collect orders from their
local dealer.
We
are planning to have 15 area
dealers, some dealers are almost
ready to start, we will be starting
with a smaller number of dealers
& adding more as we go,
aiming to have the full network
of 15 dealers in place by January
2009. The first dealers are
due to begin towards the beginning
of next month.
If
you have an interest in becoming
an area dealer - click
here
Once
our dealers are established,
we will still communicate with
all of our customers, via our
members update emails - and
we will still be available on
the telephones & via live
online help to provide product
support, technical support -
or whatever help is required
- but we will cease to supply
our products directly to customers
(except volume customers). This
will not effect the price you
pay for the products - but what
it will mean is that you will
get a better more personable
service from your local dealer
- as they are supplying only
their territory, rather than
having to try to supply whole
UK & more which is what
we have been doing - and it
will also mean we will have
more time to help customers,
and to seek out more new products!
In
the meantime....
While
we are establishing the dealer
network, there are going to
be teething problems, and it
will be some time until customers
can enjoy the full benefits,
we're already experiencing delays,
as we had planned to go live
with the first dealers by the
beginning of June! So please
bear with us - it will be worth
it in the end, of this we're
certain!
From
now until the first dealers
are set up - which is hopefully
the beginning of July - we are
limited as to how we can supply
stock. As we were expecting
to have the first dealers established
by the beginning of this month,
we have already made changes
which mean that we're set up
to deal in the new way, therefore
we do not have the full range
of stock, nor do we have a warehouse
which is set up to handle the
same smaller day to day orders
that we were set up to manage.
This
means that until the first dealers
are up & running, we can
still supply you - however we
may be unable to deliver next
day, and depending on what products
you require, we may have to
request minimum (case) quantities
- and have the goods sent directly
from our manufacturer or supplier,
which may mean a delivery time
of 3-5 days in some cases.
This
isn't true with all products
- if we have it in stock, we
will send it to you, however
even when sending from our stock
it may take 2-3 days rather
than next day, as we're no longer
set up properly to be able to
get everything sent out same
day. If you do require products
urgently next day, try us -
we may be able to if we have
the products you need in stock
- but if not we will tell you.
We
are very sorry about this -
and we're working as quickly
as we can to get the first dealers
set up, and indeed to get all
15 dealers setup so that all
of our customers have a local
dealer - but in the meantime
all we can ask is that you bear
with us.
Just
order as normal via the online
shop - or via phone - or via
the new online quotation system
in the members area, we
no longer take online payment
up front, instead we
will review your order - tell
you whether we have the goods
in stock & if not what the
options are, and then arrange
payment.
